Danny Trejo on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä, jonka tavaramerkkinä on miehen rujo olemus. Päihde- ja vankilakierteeltä miehen pelasti nyrkkeily, jonka kautta Danny sai mahdollisuuden osallistua elokuvien tekoon aluksi osana teknistä ryhmää. Sittemmin hän sai mahdollisuuden myös näytellä ja loppu onkin historiaa. Tätä kirjoitettaessa Dannylla on yli 300 elokuvaroolia; monet niistä tosin varsin pieniä, mutta kuitenkin.

Danny Trejo is an American actor whose trademark is his rough looks. Saved by boxing from alcohol, and narcotics and increasing prison sentences he first stumbled with film making by being part of technical assistants showing actors how to box properly. Since then he was landed numerous small parts as an actor as well and the rest is history: at the time of this writing Danny Trejo has over 300 roles credited to his name. Many of those roles are rather small but there are notable exceptions and lead roles as well.
