Before being offered title roles Melissa acted in minor, but interesting, roles in several quite intriguing films (at least these are intriguing for fans of thriller and horror films!) such as Alex Proyas’ Dark City (1998), Steven Soderbergh’s The Limey (1999) and David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive (2001). Fans of thriller and horror films have had the pleasure of seeing her star in title roles throughout the past 20 years.
